Position Summary
Megen Construction is seeking an ambitious and disciplined Assistant Construction Project Manager committed to building a long-term career in construction leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Manager and Site Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and other project documentation.
Assist in daily field oversight, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Review job costs, invoices, pay applications, change orders, back charges, and budget tracking with precision and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of progress reports, cost tracking logs, daily field reports, and productivity measurements.
Help identify design conflicts, constructability issues, and schedule risks—escalating promptly when necessary.
Participate in meetings, provide updates, and manage assigned tasks proactively.
Maintain organized and complete project documentation at all times.
Perform additional tasks assigned by Project Manager or Senior Management with urgency and quality.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience.
Strong ability to read drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Procore preferred.
Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
Demonstrated ambition, initiative, and willingness to work the hours necessary to advance in the company.
A mindset aligned with continuous improvement, personal accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
