As a Healthcare Consulting Manager with a focus in Nursing, your primary responsibilities may include:

Client Engagement & Strategy Development

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to healthcare organizations, understanding their clinical challenges and operational goals while designing customized strategies to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and care quality.

  • Lead client engagements, ensuring that clinical and operational transformation goals are achieved through comprehensive, evidence-based solutions.

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Manage large-scale, complex healthcare projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams to drive successful delivery on time and within budget.

  • Develop and implement best practices in clinical operations, case management, care coordination, and patient-centered outcomes.

  • Lead workshops, working sessions, and presentations with healthcare executives, clinical teams, and stakeholders.

Clinical Operations Improvement & Technology Enablement

  • Analyze existing clinical workflows and healthcare operations, identifying gaps and recommending innovative solutions to enhance patient care and operational effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to drive the integration of technology, automation, and data analytics into clinical workflows to streamline operations and improve care quality.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Guide healthcare organizations through regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and healthcare policies such as CMS, HIPAA, and other healthcare regulations.

  • Develop comprehensive risk management strategies, advising clients on minimizing risks related to clinical operations, patient safety, and compliance.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare space, contributing to proposal development, and leading client presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and industry stakeholders to expand Accenture's footprint in clinical transformation consulting.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of healthcare consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

  • Provide professional development opportunities and constructive feedback to build a motivated and highly skilled team aligned with organizational goals.

Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in healthcare delivery, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting clinical operations and patient care.

  • Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and speaking engagements, positioning Accenture as a recognized leader in healthcare transformation.

Travel

  • As needed, could be up to 80%

Qualification

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership, clinical operations, or healthcare consulting.

  • Minimum of 5 years consulting experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of expertise in clinical operations, utilization management, patient care optimization, and healthcare system management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and compliance frameworks (e.g., CMS, HIPAA, etc.).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Master's degree or advanced certifications in healthcare administration or nursing leadership.

  • Leadership experience with large healthcare systems or hospital networks.

  • Proven success in improving clinical outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations through regulatory audits and compliance initiatives.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
