Special Ed Teacher Grove City, Ohio

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing as an Intervention Specialist to support students with various disabilities, including Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and mild Other Health Impairments (OHI). This contract position spans the current school year through June 23, 2026, serving an elementary school located in Grove City, Ohio.

Responsibilities include providing direct instructional support to students in grades 3 through 6 within a K-8 caseload. The role requires itinerant service delivery across the assigned school, adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with cross-categorical disabilities. Collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and support staff will be essential to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that promote student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Intervention Specialist license in Ohio (No Education Limited License accepted)
• Experience working with students with SLD, ID, and minor OHI
• Ability to manage a caseload of cross-categorical students in grades 3 to 6
• Strong skills in designing differentiated instructional methods
