Senior CRM & Marketing Ops (GoHighLevel) Contractor

A Vaco client is in search of a Marketing Automation Architect to join their team for a consulting engagement. This candidate will be key to building a unified pipeline architecture for the end client. The client utilizes GoHighLevel for CRM and the candidate must possess deep knowledge of the tool. This role has the capability of being fully remote.

Overview

• Senior CRM & Marketing Ops (GoHighLevel) contractor.
• Build unified pipeline architecture
• Turn patient and provider journey maps into pipelines, fields, tags, and workflows.
• Rebuild the GoHighLevel data schema + data dictionary to align with our unified data mart (BigQuery).
• Standardize tagging/UTMs/GA4 events and support integration with the new website (Builder.io + Next.js).

Core Responsibilities

• Lead working sessions to translate journeys into a clean GoHighLevel configuration (DTC + B2B).
• Redesign fields, pipelines, and workflows; deprecate legacy clutter.
• Partner with web and data teams on form/event tracking, field mapping, and QA into BigQuery/Looker Studio.
• Document config and standards so the internal team can maintain it.

Tool-Stack Must-Haves

• Deep, hands-on GoHighLevel experience (pipelines, custom fields, tags, workflows).
• GA4 and GTM for event tracking and debugging.
• Comfort collaborating with teams using BigQuery (or similar) and modern web stacks (Next.js/headless CMS).

Industry Experience (Nice to Have)

• Multi-location healthcare or behavioral health.
• Experience in HIPAA-adjacent environments and DTC + provider/referral funnels.
