The Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus Ohio is looking for a full-time board-certified or board eligible Oncologist to join our team. The position will provide comprehensive patient care in the form of consultative outpatient Hematologic and Oncologic care. Duty location is in Columbus, OH. This position is authorized for Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment).
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing Hematology/Oncology care to our Veteran patients, including seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting, prescribing chemotherapeutic and non-chemo medications, and an opportunity to perform bone marrow aspirations and biopsies.
- Documenting clinical encounters in a timely manner in our Electronic Health Record.
- Maintaining accurate data on all procedures.
- Attending section meetings, quality committee meetings, and similar administrative functions.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual reports concerning the department.
- Preparing and updating policies and procedures for the department in compliance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization guidelines.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
