Lochmueller Group is growing in Ohio and we are looking for an experienced Roadway Engineer to join our dynamic Roadway/Highway Design team. - Serving as a project engineer with responsibility for various local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects.
- Assisting with project task management, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Delegating work to project team members.
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.
- Assisting with the preparation of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinating with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Taking a lead role in project planning, design, and implementation.
- Performing detailed engineering analysis and design tasks.
- Assisting with the preparation of complete project documents, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assisting upper level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
- Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio.
- 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in roadway/highway design, including ODOT experience.
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
