As Senior Controls Engineer, you’ll be the technical lead driving automation strategy, OT cybersecurity, and process control improvements that keep this high-performing plant operating at peak reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation systems including DCS (Siemens PCS7 DCS), SCADA, MES, and data historians

• Maintain and optimize process control systems to ensure consistent product quality and plant stability

• Lead system upgrades and modernization to meet production and regulatory demands

• Embed OT cybersecurity controls into system design and daily operation

• Solve high-level automation and network challenges across platforms

• Integrate data analytics and visualization tools for enhanced process insights

• Standardize controls and procedures for greater reliability and consistency

• Provide process control input for capital projects and plant expansions

• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross-functionally with process, quality, and instrumentation teams

• Participate in automation on-call support rotation

• Maintain compliance with all safety and operational standards

Qualifications

• BS in Controls or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years’ experience in automation and process control within manufacturing

• Proven expertise with Siemens TIA Portal and PCS7 DCS experience required

• Solid understanding of OT cybersecurity risks, best practices, and prevention

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Familiar with ICS infrastructure, Microsoft operating systems, and networked control environments

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
