This opportunity is for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and maintain radiation safety in a well-established healthcare setting. The role involves preparing examinations for interpretation, operating nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment, and ensuring quality assurance in line with facility protocols. Exceptional organization, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in allied health or Nuclear Medicine Technology from an AMA-approved program, or registry-eligible
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Valid licensure to practice in the state
  • Annual CPR/When Seconds Count certification
  • Minimum of two years experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
  • Proficient with computer programs and electronic medical records
  • Strong organizational skills and critical thinking capabilities

Schedule / Hours:

  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday
  • 6:00 AM 6:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine exams per physician orders and document findings accurately
  • Ensure proper handoff and continuity of care among healthcare providers
  • Analyze exam quality and prepare results for radiologist interpretation
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and follow radiation safety standards
  • Transport and position patients appropriately and safely
  • Engage in quality assurance and control activities related to nuclear medicine
  • Operate facility computer systems and nuclear medicine equipment with precision
