JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and systems function safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position provides hands-on technical expertise, coordinates preventive maintenance programs, manages maintenance personnel, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key leadership role in promoting safety, production excellence, and equipment reliability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee maintenance operations to ensure all equipment and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Facilitate workflow management, work order scheduling, and team assignments to meet maintenance and production goals.
- Supervise, train, and coach maintenance staff; provide technical guidance to troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs, safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives (including 6S).
- Collaborate with operations, management, and MRO to coordinate maintenance activities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure budget and resource alignment.
- Manage and approve technician schedules, attendance, and timecards; ensure adequate off-shift and weekend coverage.
- Support development of maintenance goals, policies, procedures, and capital expenditure planning; provide input on budgets, expenditures, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, equipment records, procurement documents, and contractor contracts.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and environmental requirements, including LOTO, RCRA, DOT, and HAZMAT standards.
- Conduct and document safety, environmental, and 6S audits; investigate and report accidents or incidents as required.
- Acquire and maintain required certifications or credentials for the role and continued professional development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company housekeeping standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork across the maintenance department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years hands-on maintenance experience.
- Certifications/Licenses: None
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- In depth knowledge of the trades with 5+ years experience in electronic systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems. Prior experience in a leadership role preferred. Knowledge of electrical testing equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting tree. Skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good follow-up skills. Ability to troubleshoot majority of hi-tech plant equipment with no supervision. Ability to interact with a wide variety of people and collaborate with others. Ability to report progress and work with engineers to solve issues. Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Manufacturing software

- Working Environment: Indoor working environment within various areas of a foundry facility/Office environment
- Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working.
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant
