Diagnostic Radiology Locums Physician, North Carolina - Remote Reading

Work remotely as a Diagnostic Radiologist with weekday hours and no call, reading for a hospital in North Carolina.

Highlights:

• Fully remote role; read from home
• No call required; night reads covered by a separate team

Practice Setting:

• Primarily outpatient reads with occasional hospital-based and mammography cases
• Reads supported by a full hospital radiology and clinical team
• Facility has 110 beds, 12-bed ICU, and 19-bed ED

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Full-time ongoing coverage preferred; part-time schedules also considered
• Flexibility to cover specific days each week

Cases and Procedures:

• Read mix: 41 percent X-ray, 21 percent CT, 14 percent Mammography, 8 percent US, 8 percent IR, 5 percent MRI, plus DEXA, Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Fluoro
• Volume: 7 to 12 reads per hour
• No procedures or call involved

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiology
• Active North Carolina license required
• BLS certified
