Seafood Chef Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and innovate menus featuring fresh seafood and coastal cuisine
• Prepare and cook a variety of seafood dishes, including fish, shellfish, and raw bar items
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and plate presentation meet high standards
• Manage food costs, portion control, and kitchen inventory
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
• Contribute ideas for seasonal specials, promotions, and new dishes to enhance the dining experience

Required Skills

• Expertise in seafood preparation and handling various types of seafood
• Proficiency in American cuisine and classic seafood dishes
• Strong menu planning, recipe development, and culinary innovation skills

Salary

• $36,000 - $60,000 per year
