RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers across your assigned territory by understanding their operations and business challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and solutions partner, helping clients achieve performance and efficiency goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and leveraging internal resources to support account growth.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
  • Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the industrial specialties sector.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide regular feedback to leadership on market insights, customer activity, and potential opportunities.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the specialty chemical distribution industry.
  • Proven success managing key accounts and developing new business.
  • Knowledge of industrial specialties, polymer science, or related markets preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and opportunity pipeline management.
