The facility integrates lighting and mold design, production engineering, and collaborative teams across Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service. Deliver accurate technical documentation and reports
Present confidently in meetings and design reviews
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute robust design and development of exterior automotive lighting products from initial concept through production
Conduct feasibility studies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Perform DFMEA, DRBFM, and FTA reviews to validate design integrity
Identify and resolve design issues efficiently and proactively
Research and apply new lighting and materials technologies to enhance product performance
Create detailed 2D/3D component and assembly drawings, including Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Verify designs through mock-ups, prototypes, and tooling trials
Ensure all designs meet ISO 9001/14001 and IATF 16949 standards

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education/experience
3–5 years of CAD experience (CATIA V5 or V6 required)
Familiarity with FMVSS 108 and other global automotive lighting standards
Understanding of electrical circuits and LED operation
Experience with automotive product design and development
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience:
2–5 years in plastic injection molding design
Experience using ANSYS SPEOS, LucidShape CAA V5, and Moldex3D
