Die Mold Maintenance Technician

The facility houses mold design, construction, production engineering, and dedicated teams across Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service. RESPONSIBILITIES

Tech 4:

• Perform complex repairs using hand tools and basic machine tools with minimal supervision

• Interpret mold and manifold prints accurately

• Manufacture complex components directly from blueprints

• Polish molds to Class A1 diamond finish standards

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians

• Prioritize and execute multiple assignments efficiently

Tech 5:

• Fulfill all duties listed under Tech 4

• Program and operate tool-room equipment proficiently

• Complete complex repairs, design changes, or new mold builds

• Independently evaluate, plan, and complete projects from start to finish (including coordinating outsourced work as needed)

• Lead mold projects while directing and developing supporting staff

• Design and fabricate jigs, fixtures, and gauges

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Tech 4: $30.02 per hour

• Tech 5: $32.77 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

Tech 4:

• Minimum 8 years of mold-making experience

• Proactive approach to achieving team and company goals

Tech 5:

• Minimum 10 years of mold-making experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in dimensional mathematics

• Skilled in CAD/CAM software

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to walk or stand for up to 10 hours per shift

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Approximately 1 hour/day in an office environment and 7 hours/day in manufacturing areas

• Occasional overnight travel for training or project support

• Overtime may be required (unplanned or unscheduled) to meet production deadlines
