Our client is an emergency veterinary hospital in Akron, OH, hiring for an Emergency Veterinarian to join its dedicated team. This VECCS Level II Emergency Facility treats over 15,000 patients annually and provides care for a wide range of species requiring emergency services. The hospital operates 24/7 and offers specialty services in multiple disciplines to support comprehensive patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with emergency care available 365 days a year. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling options to accommodate the needs of the emergency team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Emergency Veterinarian will provide high-quality emergency medicine and critical care in a fast-paced environment. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating urgent and emergent cases, stabilizing critical patients, and coordinating care with the specialty services team when needed. The role is open to experienced veterinarians who are dedicated to practicing the highest standard of emergency veterinary medicine and thrive in a collaborative setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including MRI, CT, on-site board-certified radiology, and a dedicated Hospitalist. Services offered include anesthesiology & analgesia, emergency medicine, integrative medicine, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology & neurosurgery, radiology, and surgery. The hospital is undergoing an expansion that will double its size, ensuring continual growth and modernization. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
