Veterinary Technician

The Newburyport Veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a full-time veterinary technician to add to our talented growing team! We are a privately owned, full service veterinary clinic that offers advanced surgical and medical therapy in a fast paced collaborative setting. We are family friendly and have very low staff turnover!!! Our ideal candidate will be passionate about our profession, have great technical skills, excellent customer service skills and excel at multitasking. Prior veterinary technician experience is a requirement, CVT is preferred, but not a requirement. Cornerstone professional software knowledge is a plus.

Applicants must possess the following skills

• Patient restraint

• Phlebotomy

• Laboratory Equipment operation

• Radiographs

• Administering medications/vaccinations

• IV catheter placement

• Surgical monitoring

Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem

Schedule

We offer flexible scheduling to cover our hospital hours M-F 8am -7pm and Saturdays 8am- 2 pm

M-F up to 10 hour shifts, all day, morning or afternoons

Saturdays are rotated with two 6 hour shifts/month.
