Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects by managing project schedules, updating drawings and specifications, and collaborating effectively with Project Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Update drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed job schedules to align with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on all aspects of the project to ensure seamless execution.
  • Control the quality of the project from inception to completion, including managing RFI's and Change Orders.
  • Adhere to all established safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer with a General Contractor.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s). During the initial 9 months, you will be employed through Actalent Services where you will have access to full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k). After 9 months you will be eligible to transition to the construction firm as a direct employee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86/hr.
