Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.The Email Marketing Specialist is process-driven brand advocate that plays a critical role in the success of the firm's internal and external events. As the primary owner of global event communications, the Email Marketing Specialist oversees the complete event registration life cycle, applying, and advising on, best practices, event communications/forms design and programming, event list management, communication deployment, and event list tracking and reporting.This role has the internal title of Events Marketing Professional. It is a full-time role located in either London or New York and reports to the Head of Events Marketing. Paid relocation is not available for this position.What you'll do

Communications development:

Work closely with event managers/stakeholders to develop communications for each phase of the event life cycle, including save-the-dates, invitations, reminders, and thank-you emailsProactively provide guidance on event communication/registration best practices to internal customers that may be new or less familiar with available optionsPerform communication content review, including proofing and brand alignmentProgram event communications and registration formsSend/program event communications throughout the event life cycleProvide invitee/attendee reporting, as requiredContinuously innovate registration strategies to meet the evolving needs of our internal clients.

List management:

Create event lists using relevant searches and importsAdvise on strategies to develop new event lists and improve current onesEvaluate event list quality by removing inactive contacts, as measured by opens, clicks, bounces, opt outs, etc.Grant user access for event lists

CRM Support:

Provide individual or group training/troubleshooting/assistance in the use of the CRM for events or other purposes, including activity tracking, list management, contact management and reporting.Provide ad hoc assistance for reporting and general CRM requests, including assigning rights for working on behalf of othersRespond to contact update support tickets, as requiredResponsible for maintaining self-serve branded Word templates and provide support in their usage

Other responsibilities as needed.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree requiredDemonstrated experience of administration or analyst work, particularly with experience in event communication management, contact database support and/or digital marketingExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, but not requiredFlexibility and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while being detail-oriented and committed to qualityProcess driven with a technical mindsetStrong communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreadingUnderstanding of event management principles and contact database security practicesMust be able to work and be responsive in a fast-paced environment
