Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during interventional procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, biopsies, and drain insertions

• Prepare patients and ensure proper positioning for IR procedures

• Operate fluoroscopy and specialized imaging equipment with accuracy and safety

• Maintain sterile fields and adhere strictly to infection control protocols

• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures

• Document all procedures accurately and update EMR systems

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, radiation safety, and state/federal regulations

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications:

• ARRT (R) certification required.

• Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License (Required)

• ARRT (VI) certification required.

• Minimum 1 years of interventional radiology or special procedures experience.

• BLS & ACLS required from AHA only.
