Welder/Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Grove City, OH. As a key member of our fabrication shop, you will support the production of custom-built ambulances designed to meet customer specifications across the United States. Your role will involve MIG welding, reading blueprint specifications, and using various hand tools. Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel materials. Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to build and layout jobs. Utilize a tape measure and apply basic math skills for precise measurements. Operate air-powered tools such as grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and saws. Maintain and pass AWS welding certifications. Essential Skills Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel. Excellent understanding of blueprints and schematics. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations involving fractions. Competence in operating various air-powered tools. Work Environment The work environment is clean, organized, and structured with dedicated cells for different assembly processes. The fabrication shop is located at the back of the plant, where all jobs commence. The operation is deadline-oriented, with tasks expected to be completed every three hours. Please note that the main manufacturing area is not climate-controlled and can become warm during the summer months. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
