Dental Hygienist – High - Volume office

As our patient base continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced, high-energy Dental Hygienist who thrives in a busy environment and is comfortable running two columns with the support of a dedicated dental assistant.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time clinical position designed for a skilled hygienist who enjoys working in a productive, team-oriented environment. You will work closely with your dental assistant to provide efficient, thorough, and compassionate care while keeping the schedule on time and maximizing patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and debridement according to clinical guidelines

• Run two columns efficiently with the assistance of a dental assistant

• Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photos as needed

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment needs, and preventative care

• Collaborate closely with doctors and the clinical team to ensure excellent patient experience

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the practice management system

• Uphold strict infection control and OSHA standards

Qualifications:

• Active state Dental Hygiene license

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred (new grads welcome with the right attitude and speed)

• Comfortable working in a high-volume, two-column schedule

• Strong communication and patient education skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a dental assistant and maintain efficiency

• Knowledge of periodontal therapy and experience with anesthesia preferred
