As our patient base continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced, high-energy Dental Hygienist who thrives in a busy environment and is comfortable running two columns with the support of a dedicated dental assistant.
Position Overview:
This is a full-time clinical position designed for a skilled hygienist who enjoys working in a productive, team-oriented environment. You will work closely with your dental assistant to provide efficient, thorough, and compassionate care while keeping the schedule on time and maximizing patient flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and debridement according to clinical guidelines
Run two columns efficiently with the assistance of a dental assistant
Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral photos as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment needs, and preventative care
Collaborate closely with doctors and the clinical team to ensure excellent patient experience
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the practice management system
Uphold strict infection control and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
Active state Dental Hygiene license
Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred (new grads welcome with the right attitude and speed)
Comfortable working in a high-volume, two-column schedule
Strong communication and patient education skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a dental assistant and maintain efficiency
Knowledge of periodontal therapy and experience with anesthesia preferred
