See all reviews # 210642137 Position summary ud adoption and migration Drives software modernization and public cloud migration across development team, area product group and the Global Customer Platform group overall Removes blockers and impediments from development team, area product group and Global Customer Platform to reduce friction, frequent pain points and time-to-market Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience Demonstrated experience implementing GenAI to solve business problems 10+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot backend development, design and architecture 5+ years of experience in event-driven architecture, microservice-based system design and both NoSQL and SQL-like databases 5+ years of experience in leading an Agile software engineering team of 4+ employees 3+ years of Public Cloud development, design and architecture, including migration of applications to a public cloud environment Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 3+ years of direct experience in migrating Spring Boot-based Java microservices to AWS Public Cloud Applied experience with Kafka, Cassandra, CockroachDB, Splunk and PCF AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certified In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems ABOUT US Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
