Role Description:
This is a full time on-site role as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at VetNow Animal Urgent Care in Studio City, CA. The Lead RVT is responsible for supporting the Urgent Care Department with high-level technical skills, staff mentoring, and coordination of daily operations. This role works alongside our veterinarians and management team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and team performance during emergency cases and critical care treatment.
- Serve as the primary RVT on ER shifts, managing high-acuity cases and ensuring timely, compassionate care.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to ER RVTs and assistants.
- Oversee shift workflow, triage efficiency, and patient flow during busy emergency hours.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing training of technical team members.
- Maintain equipment, inventory, and hospital protocols related to emergency and critical care services.
- Communicate effectively with DVMs, client service teams, and leadership to ensure continuity of care.

- Full time - rotating 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts
- Hold a valid Veterinary technician license (LVT, RVT in California)
- 4+ years experience in a technician role, emergency experience preferred
