HVAC Mechanic

We are a fast-growing HVAC company seeking a Licensed HVAC Contractor (C-20) to serve as the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for our California operations.

This role is ideal for an experienced technician, supervisor, or former contractor who wants to take a leadership position without equity or personal financial liability (no SBA guarantee required).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the qualifying individual for our C-20 license

• Oversee and supervise HVAC work in compliance with CSLB regulations

• Provide field expertise and technical guidance as needed

• Participate in project reviews, permitting, and code compliance

• Help train and mentor technicians (optional)

Qualifications

• Valid and active C-20 HVAC contractor license in California

• Not currently qualifying another active business (or willing to disassociate)

• Able to commit to 32+ hours/week (CSLB full-time RME requirement)

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems (residential or commercial)

• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
