DK Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Bid / Project Coordinator to join our team in Chester, PA. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting our estimating and project management teams, ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects. Responsibilities:

  • Bidding Coordination:
    • Assist in preparing bid documents, including subcontractor bid packages and prequalification forms.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to solicit bids and gather required documents.
    • Maintain accurate records of bid responses and ensure all information is organized.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide general administrative support to estimating and project management teams.
    • Prepare and distribute project-related documents and assist in maintaining project management software systems.
  • Documentation and Filing:
    • Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy files for projects and contracts.
    • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and record retention policies.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
    • Track and follow up on action items and deadlines.
  • Support Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with administrative staff and team members to support company operations.
    • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and materials for meetings.

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction bidding or administrative support roles advantageous.
  • Familiarity with construction documents, bid processes, and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
