- Implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Review operations and collaborate with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems to detect production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff and address personal grievances.
- Set and monitor product standards to ensure high-quality finished products.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Essential Skills
- Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Proficiency in machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in construction safety, safety training, and safety management.
- Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred.
- Experience in various construction site roles and depth in safety across multiple trades.
- Ability to work well in a team and credibly represent our clients.
Work Environment This position is 100% onsite at a construction site in Johnstown, Ohio, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role requires a commitment to ensuring the highest safety standards while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, Ohio.
