This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in home health, healthcare, and school-based services. The position involves providing therapy to K-12 students who are homebound, supporting their educational and developmental progress through individualized treatment plans. This role operates on a contract basis for the current school year in Dublin, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a home-based educational setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, ensuring personalized and effective therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with regulatory and organizational standards
- Provide itinerant services, including paid travel to students' homes within the assigned area
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license
- Experience in home health and school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong ability to work independently while managing a significant caseload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
