Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled professional with 6-8 years of experience in Database Administration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL and Python, along with a comprehensive understanding of database management systems.

• Support and maintain data governance tools, specifically Semarchy (xDM).
• Utilize strong SQL skills for data modeling and querying.
• Work with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Semarchy xDI.
• Integrate Semarchy with other systems using APIs and web services.
• Contribute to the Master Data Management (MDM) processes, including data governance, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
• Install and configure the Semarchy xDM platform.
• Perform data modeling, application design, and manage match and merge rules.
• Ensure security through user roles and access control.
• Document and communicate processes effectively.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and Code Pipeline.
• Linux experience is a plus.
• Understanding of data quality, matching, merging, and survivorship rules.
• Experience in data engineering, MDM, or data integration.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms such as Semarchy-specific features, Anamalo, Alation, and Manta.
