LPC or LMFT

Algos Behavioral Health Services is looking for an LPC/LMFT to join our team. Algos BHS is a well-established practice of clinicians who focus on health psychology. We have been serving the San Antonio community since 2009, and we have a strong reputation amongst the medical community from which we receive referrals for therapy services. Clinicians will work predominantly with adults.

This position is for a LPC or LMFT – you must be fully licensed. This is a full-time position. Unique office hours from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Candidates should have completed all necessary coursework leading to a Master’s degree, at a minimum. They should have also successfully passed the State licensing exam and completed all required internship hours under a Board-approved Supervisor. All candidates need to be fully licensed in the state of Texas.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, specifically working with adults. You must be personable and establish a nurturing relationship with clients, while simultaneously maintaining ethical boundaries. Candidates are expected to utilize appropriate clinical methods and techniques, adhering to established ethical standards and have knowledge and application of all legal and HIPAA laws and regulations. Candidates must have ability and skills to generate reports and progress notes in a timely manner.

Responsibilities will include providing therapy services and proper documentation of such services. Experience working with individuals who have chronic medical conditions is a plus. Candidates must be a team player and work well with a clinical and administrative team. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
