Additional Information:The Student Assistant will assist and support clinical research staff on projects focused on physical activity and nutrition , assisting with study related duties to promote recruitment and retention of study participants. Student Assistant will complete CITI Training and other Computer Based Learning Trainings to gain access to necessary study platforms such as Institutional Review Board (IRB), Integrated Healthcare Information System (IHIS), RedCap, etc. They will assist with screening of eligible participants, conduct phone screenings, schedule visits, conduct follow-up contacts with participants, participant engagement, data collection and data cleaning. Student Assistant will also help research staff with study visit related tasks as needed such as attending visits to assist with biometric data collection and/or survey administration. This is a Federal Work Study-only position.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled OSU student in a degree-granting program; experience operating personal computer and other office equipment required; knowledge of medical terminology desired; Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
