Job Description
This role is part of Accenture Research's global Capital Markets research team with a focus on North America (US and Canada).
The North America Capital Markets Research Manager will work closely with the North American Practice Lead for Capital Markets (CM) as well as other regional leaders covering Buy-Side (asset & wealth management and private markets), Sell-side (Corporate and Investment Banking), and Market Infrastructure (Exchanges and Other Market Infrastructure). The researcher will support a pipeline of thought leadership projects, client projects, primary & secondary research activity and to develop market development strategy. The successful candidate will direct the scoping, delivery and quality of individual research projects, personally conducting research as required.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in capital markets, equity research or consulting experience in financial services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with global teams
Professional Skills Requirements:
Solid understanding of key segments of the capital markets industry
Experience applying primary and secondary research methodologies, and conducting financial analysis, especially in the financial services sector.
Ability to synthesize complex data and develop actionable insights.
Strong writing and communication skills, especially in business narratives and structured storytelling.
Ability to proactively originate a pipeline of thought leadership and client assets throughout the year.
Experience or strong interest in using innovative research tools and emerging technologies such as GenAI (e.g., ChatGPT), Data visualization (e.g., PowerBI)
Comfortable working across multiple simultaneous projects in a virtual, global team environment.
Demonstrated success working with senior stakeholders.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
