The Executive Assistant within the College of Engineering Dean's suite provides administrative support to assigned senior leader(s). This includes the following:
Managing calendar and events
Scheduling appointments, and anticipating scheduling conflicts
Prioritizing commitments
Initiates and processes national and international travel requests and reimbursements
Coordinates complex meetings and events for faculty and staff to include organizing agenda, ordering food, securing adequate location
Manages project activities, deliverable times, and provides follow-up as needed
Interacts with key contacts and responds to inquires and/or requests
Drafts and distributes communication and correspondences
Creates flyers and other communication material to promote events
Performs research on various topics and prepares presentations for events and/or meetings
Conveys and manages highly sensitive information while maintaining the utmost confidentiality
In addition, provides administrative support to other senior staff members within the Dean's Suite as needed. Also, collaborates with other administrative professionals to ensure all time-critical administrative needs of the Dean's Suite are met.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of relevant administrative assistant experience.
Desired Qualifications
Workday knowledge. Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, including Teams and CoPilot.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively.
Additional Information:Pay rate: $24.76-32.33/hr.
The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
