Position Summary:
The Office Services Coordinator 1 supports the operational needs of the College of Optometry by managing mailroom services, coordinating office supply inventory, and serving as the primary contact for copier and printer support. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the College mailrooms, including incoming and outgoing mail, shipping, receiving, and package delivery for faculty, staff, and students.
- Distributes incoming faxes from the fax server.
- Orders and maintains inventory of office and operational supplies.
- Oversees the Colleges copier and printer services contract (Comdoc), including:
- Monitoring contract expirations and coordinating renewals.
- Scheduling equipment installations and managing service requests.
- Serving as the point of contact for printer/copier repairs and supply orders.
- Coordinating with IT to resolve recurring technical issues.
- Assists the Equipment Coordinator with the annual PIER Report and Asset Management process.
- Maintains and updates the Asset Management database.
- Supports building access control by managing key and card requests
- Uses the College Help Desk ticketing system to track and respond to requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support College operations.
Working Conditions:
- On-site position in a college office environment.
- May involve lifting packages and handling office equipment.
