General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their modern and spacious AAHA-accredited facility in beautiful San Diego, California. This full-service hospital provides high-quality care for dogs and cats, supported by a loyal client base and a friendly, collaborative work environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is suited for an experienced veterinarian who will provide comprehensive, compassionate care across routine wellness, internal medicine, diagnostics, and dentistry. The hospital emphasizes delivering extraordinary veterinary services and maintaining a strong connection with its local San Diego community.

Practice Details
The hospital features an in-house diagnostic lab offering radiography (digital X-rays), bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, ECG/EKG, and digital dental X-rays. Facilities also include an in-house pharmacy. The practice is AAHA-accredited, and some team members are Fear-Free Certified. Services offered include routine exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, internal medicine, senior pet care, and puppy and kitten wellness.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 2 DVMs and a dedicated support team in a collaborative and healthy work environment focused on high standards of care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
