RN - School

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a school nurse position serving elementary students, requiring recent school RN experience and a valid RN license.

• Work setting is an elementary school
• Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Serves an elementary student population
• Floating to other school units may be requested based on facility needs
• Provide direct nursing care and emergency response to elementary school students
• Must provide a copy of Social Security card for consideration
• Prior permanent employees must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Requests for time off must be minimal with no more than 7 days total and preferred not to include an entire calendar week
• Locals are accepted at the same base rate

• Active RN license in Virginia or valid Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of school RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Specialty experience must be within the last year
• One supervisory reference is required for consideration
