Our client, a global automaker, is seeking a Production Supervisor - Intermediate to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, strong communication abilities, and a goal-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Trenton, MI
Pay Range: $30/h + benefits
What's the Job?
- Manage small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment.
- Ensure the production plan is met and analyze issues with other roles to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the team to enhance safety practices and enforce the use of mandated safety tools and procedures.
- Analyze quality KPIs related to the zone and prioritize quality issues effectively.
- Participate in and lead Kaizen project activities focused on Safety, Cost, Quality, and Throughput improvements.
What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required. (Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred)

2+ years of supervisory and manufacturing experience (high volume environment)

Excellent organization, written, and oral communication skills.

Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.

Previous experience working in a union environment (preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess a valid driver's license.
