Pay Range $20-$25/HR Depending on Experience (DOE)

New to Intermediate 1-3 years

Job Description  

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framing Carpenter to construct the framework of residential and commercial buildings according to blueprints, codes, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with wood and metal framing, a strong understanding of building plans, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures
• Digging trenches and backfilling holes
• Operating equipment and heavy machinery
• Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors
• Loading and unloading building materials
• Removing hazardous materials and debris from the work site
• Assisting trade workers, such as carpenters or electricians
• Controlling the work site by putting up barriers and signs or directing traffic

Required Skills and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Construction and carpentry experience
• Physical stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail
• Proven experience in a working capacity, references from 2-3 former employers
