General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital located in Birmingham, Alabama, currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital is part of a larger complex that includes a pet resort and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident working as the sole doctor or as part of a small team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital offers flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling. Appointment lengths are determined at the veterinarians discretion, typically ranging between 3045 minutes. With an on-site pet resort, doctors are welcome to bring their dogs to work for free, using the complimentary pet day camp.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to deliver gold-standard care by utilizing progressive medicine and upholding the highest professional standards. This role is open to experienced veterinarians and offers the opportunity to work independently or within a small team, depending on the day.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital X-rays, digital dental X-rays, ultrasound, in-house labs, and electronic medical records. It is located within a facility that includes a pet resort and emphasizes a healthy work-life balance and a positive, supportive work environment.

Team
Each doctor is supported by 23 technicians, along with a manager and front desk staff. The environment is collaborative and fun, with a strong focus on work-life balance and team support.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
