Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines CSR to join our growing team in Van Alstyne, TX!

The Personal Lines CSR assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in the support of Producer and Agency activities.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Gathers risk data and prepares renewal documents 120 days prior, delivering them within five days of receipt.

  • Collects renewal info and completes applications 60 days before renewal based on updated exposure surveys.

  • Responds to client requests for quotes, policy changes, or new coverage within 24 hours.

  • Reviews accounts for potential new lines of insurance and solicits them before renewal via phone, email, or mail.

  • Evaluates non-standard policies for rewriting; prepares applications for carriers no longer represented.

  • Conducts quarterly service calls for designated accounts and handles special client projects as approved.

  • Ensures timely and complete interactions to reduce the risk of errors and omissions.

  • Reviews cancellations or terminations and takes immediate necessary action , including premium collections.

  • Assists in claim resolution and follows up on outstanding claims.

  • Gathers expiration dates on external policies, documents key interactions, and actively seeks client referrals.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must hold a current Property & Casualty insurance license or obtain within 6 months

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Motivated insurance professional with minimum of 2+ years' experience in Personal Lines insurance (specifically auto and homeowner's insurance lines) - or related experience/education

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven commitment to high quality customer service

  • Strong attention to detail

  • T his position may require routine or periodic travel, which may require the team members to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
