Brown & Brown is seeking a Claims and Risk Manager to join our growing tea m in Tacoma, WA!
The Claims and Risk Manager develops and implements com pr ehensive risk management strategies, advocates for clients throughout the claims pr o cess, and collaborates with internal tea m s and external partners to ensure effective, compliant, and client-focused service delivery.
How You Will Contribute:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carriers through phone calls, personal meetings, seminars, newsletters, etc.
Pr epare pr o f essional reports, exposure analysis and claim and risk management service plans
Advocate for the client during the claims pr o cess coordinate claim reviews
Facilitate services with team members and other service pr o viders
Communicate with team members regarding activities and pr o gress on service plans
Consult with clients, team members , and service pr o viders to develop and implement effective risk management policies and pr o grams
Exercise considerable discretion and independent judgment
Maintain current knowledge of legislation and technical updates and advise clients of regulatory changes and compliance issues
Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills and licensing requirements
Conduct an ap pr o pr iate level of confidentiality of information pr o cessed
Other duties or special pr o jects may be assigned
Licenses and Certifications:
Adjusters License and Pr o perty & Casualty License ( pr eferred)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
2+ years of experience in Claims & Risk Management
Basic knowledge and understanding or pr o perty & casualty coverage, current legislation, rules, and laws
Experience with Microsoft Windows
AMS360 & Zywave experience ( pr eferred)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Pay Range
$75k - $110k AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
