We are looking for a Business Analyst to participate as a member of a full lifecycle agile development team. This position will be a full-time contract and onsite .
What Youll Do
Work across multiple business units to perform business and systems analysis activities and tasks
Provide analysis and guidance for development team activities
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are thoroughly documented, work flowed, tested, and achieved
Assist in the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of solutions
Research and understand client business processes and their inter-relationships
Document and diagram business and system processes and dependencies
Facilitate joint analysis workshops with business units
Gather and document business and technical requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps and other tools
Manage backlog and work items using Azure DevOps
Coordinate with data migration and development teams
Develop test plans and test cases; coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts
Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelors degree or masters degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in Business Process Analysis and systems analysis
Proficiency in process mapping/modeling with tools such as Visio
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in writing SQL Queries and performing Data Analysis
Knowledge of data migration
Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling
Ability to expertly facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders
Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices and techniques
System Analysis & Design using various modeling methodologies and techniques
Knowledge of State of Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1 and ability to apply PMBOK principles
Ability to relate to stakeholders needs and document requirements
Ability to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective work relationships
Ability to adjust to changing demands in a dynamic environment with diverse work assignments
Preferred:
Experience working with Microsoft DevOps
Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code
Knowledge of change and release management and testing/quality assurance tools and techniques
Agile project experience and use of Azure DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Advanced skills with Microsoft products: SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, DevOps, and Project
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $40 - $56 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
