Our client, a leader in automation solutions, is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer II to join their team. As a PLC Controls Engineer II, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative automated material handling systems. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to travel extensively, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PLC Controls Engineer II

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $45-$50/hr (based on experience)

What's the Job?

  • Assist in PLC programming, HMI development, and system commissioning.
  • Support project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams.
  • Help develop technical documentation (QA/QC, test plans).
  • Participate in BUAT/UAT/FAT testing and post-installation support.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Up to 4 years of experience in controls engineering or material handling projects.
  • Exposure to Allen-Bradley PLCs and Wonderware Aveva Edge (or similar HMI platforms).
  • Interest or experience in post and parcel operations is a plus.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
