Professional Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveying assignments with sound judgment and technical proficiency.

• Work under the guidance of the Survey Department Manager.

• Define right-of-way lines and property boundaries from field data and public records.

• Generate maps, plats, legal descriptions, and supporting documentation.

• Mentor survey field and office staff.

• Follow all safety procedures on job sites.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying/Mapping, or related field.

• Active Ohio Professional Surveyor license (additional state licensure is a plus).

• ODOT Right-of-Way Designer/Reviewer Certification, or the ability to obtain it.

• 5+ years of professional experience.

• Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and Trimble Survey equipment.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

Salary Range: $90,000–$115,000
