Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveying assignments with sound judgment and technical proficiency.
Work under the guidance of the Survey Department Manager.
Define right-of-way lines and property boundaries from field data and public records.
Generate maps, plats, legal descriptions, and supporting documentation.
Mentor survey field and office staff.
Follow all safety procedures on job sites.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying/Mapping, or related field.
Active Ohio Professional Surveyor license (additional state licensure is a plus).
ODOT Right-of-Way Designer/Reviewer Certification, or the ability to obtain it.
5+ years of professional experience.
Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and Trimble Survey equipment.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
