What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate and maintain various cutting machines, including band saws and press machines, to cut materials according to specifications.
• Monitor the quality of cut materials and make adjustments as necessary to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks to transport materials to and from the cutting area.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on cutting equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to management.

Skills You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating cutting machines and related equipment.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in machine operation.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Operating forklifts and cutting machines (preferred)
• Proficiency in using a band saw and press machines allows the operator to execute precise cuts (preferred)
• Attention to detail is necessary to monitor the quality of materials and make adjustments as needed
• Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration with team members to ensure production goals are met
• Mechanical skills are beneficial for performing routine maintenance on equipment, contributing to a safer and more efficient work environment
