Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Set the tone for excellence in care, overseeing complex cases and mentoring junior veterinarians and support staff.
- Client Communication: Deliver compassionate, clear, and informative client education—especially in sensitive or complex medical cases.
- Preventive Care & Wellness: Champion wellness-focused protocols that prioritize early intervention and long-term pet health.
- Diagnostics & Decision-Making: Leverage modern diagnostic tools (including imaging and lab work) and lead team-based treatment planning.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging growth, knowledge sharing, and high standards of care.
- Workflow Innovation: Identify and implement process improvements across mobile, telehealth, and in-hospital platforms.
- Regulatory Excellence: Ensure compliance with veterinary licensing standards while modeling best practices in patient safety and medical ethics.
Qualifications
- DVM from an accredited institution and licensed (or license-eligible) in Massachusetts
- Minimum 6 years of clinical experience, ideally in a high-quality, fast-paced setting
- Advanced skills in diagnostics, chronic disease management, or surgery preferred
- Strong command of veterinary software and AI-integrated tools
- Passion for client education, preventive medicine, and mentorship
- Comfortable working in hybrid environments (hospital, mobile vet care, telehealth)
