General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital currently hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a small animal general practice in Chicago, Illinois. The clinic focuses on high-quality preventive care and medical services for companion animals.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The position is full-time. Flexibility in scheduling and a focus on work-life balance are supported.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and preventive wellness services. The role involves using in-house diagnostic tools and collaborating with a skilled support team to deliver consistent and compassionate care. The position is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and continuing education programs available to support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiographs, ultrasound, a high-speed dental unit, in-house laboratory equipment (CBC and chemistry), and state-of-the-art anesthetic monitoring systems. The facility supports a wide range of general practice services and promotes a culture grounded in teamwork and emotional intelligence.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
