About Us

Redline Athletics Bowie is a premier 9,000 sq. ft. youth sports performance training facility in Prince George’s County, MD. We specialize in athletic development for ages 8–18 and offer adult fitness, team training, and afterschool programs in partnership with schools and community organizations. As we enter our fifth year, we're looking for a driven leader to help take our facility to the next level in performance, operations, and business growth.

Who We’re Looking For

We're seeking a proven leader in sports performance and facility management who brings:

  • Hands-on experience training athletes (especially youth and teens) with measurable results

  • A strong track record of growing and managing a sports performance center, fitness studio, or gym

  • Demonstrated success in high member conversion, low attrition, and business profitability

  • A passion for working with youth athletes, teams, and diverse skill levels

  • A mindset that blends coaching excellence with operational execution and business savvy

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Growth

  • Drive membership growth to 225+ active members with strong conversion and retention strategies

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and customer experience

  • Analyze business performance metrics and implement systems for growth and efficiency

  • Cultivate school, team, and community partnerships to expand training and revenue opportunities

Program Strategy & Oversight

  • Lead program planning, delivery, and evaluation for youth, teams, and adult fitness

  • Launch new training programs, refresh underperforming offerings, and sunset low-impact services

  • Ensure training programs align with Redline standards in quality, safety, and results

Training & Athlete Development

  • Provide or oversee high-quality performance training for youth athletes

  • Demonstrate athlete progress using assessments, data, and technology (e.g. InBody, TeamBuildr)

  • Support staff development to ensure training consistency and outcomes

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Supervise and develop a staff of 12–20 coaches and interns

  • Set performance standards and accountability systems

  • Foster a culture that is positive, high-energy, and results-focused

Client Experience & Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents, athletes, and school partners

  • Oversee trial-to-conversion pipeline and long-term member satisfaction

  • Maintain a professional, inclusive, and supportive environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a sports performance trainer or strength coach

  • Documented results in athlete development (before/after metrics, performance gains, injury prevention, etc.)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a training facility, gym, or studio

  • Proven success in membership conversion, retention, and business growth

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Psychology, or Business

  • Valid training certification: CSCS, NASM-PES, NSCA, or equivalent required

  • CPR/AED certification required

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

  • Experience with tools such as TeamBuildr, Mindbody, InBody, or similar platforms preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $28–$35 per hour

  • Quarterly performance-based bonuses
