Residential LPN

Southeast Healthcare is seeking an LPN to work in our residential facility treating men with severe and persistent mental illness and possible co-occurring substance use disorders. The nurse provides and monitors the nursing care given to house residents. This person orders medications, monitors medication supplies, distributes and administers medications to residents, consults with the psychiatrist regarding medical, nursing and medication evaluations of house residents, provides medication education, and implements and helps to facilitate house treatment activities, such as individual/group therapy, crisis intervention services, assisting clients with ADLs, and meal preparation.

Maintaining compliance with all applicable nursing standards and providing medication education to residents and employees is an important function of this position.

Requirements:

  • Ohio LPN license required.
  • Experience with SPMI and/or SUD population preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources and healthcare services.
