Established in 2001, Driftaway Café in Savannah, Georgia is a casual dining restaurant with full bar service located in the historic Sandfly neighborhood near the Isle of Hope. Our menu features flavors that will appeal to every palate, with combinations for both discriminating seafood lovers and new visitors to the shore. Driftaway Café was created out of the desire to serve the local neighborhoods of Savannah great food in a fun and friendly atmosphere, and quickly became one of Savannah’s favorite spots to relax and enjoy good times with friends and family. Driftaway Café has evolved into an establishment where people from all walks of life can feel comfortable grabbing a quick bite to eat or taking the time to relax and truly dine!

For Robyn and Michele Quattlebaum, it’s their love for a room full of happy diners and the opportunity to share their brand of Southern hospitality that drives them. When asked when he knew the restaurant business was going to be his life’s work, Robyn said, “When I realized I could put a smile on anyone’s face with a good meal and a cold drink.” Sometimes, it is just as simple as that. And of course, while Robyn and Michele run the ship with decades of industry experience, Robyn humbly insists, “I absolutely would not be where I am without my dedicated team of hard workers here at Driftaway. I work as hard for them as they do for me.”
