The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is an alliance of utilities and partners that pools resources and shares risks to transform the market for energy efficiency to the benefit of all consumers in the Northwest.
NEEA is an alliance of more than 140 utilities and energy efficiency organizations that works with the market to advance energy-efficient technologies to reduce energy waste in ways that promote reliability, comfort and economic benefits for Northwest consumers and businesses.
By combining data, research, product testing and rigorous evaluation, we can understand the market as a whole and identify the future needs of consumers and businesses, ensuring those needs are embedded into energy efficiency solutions. Through regional and national collaboration, the alliance identifies and removes barriers to the adoption of energy-efficient technologies and practices.
NEEA increases the availability and affordability of high-performing, efficient appliances to give consumers more and better options. These appliances make homes and businesses more affordable to power and operate. We do this by:
- Convening and connecting experts to promote knowledge-sharing and define strategic priorities.
- Working at every stage of the supply chain to remove barriers to advance the adoption of efficient technologies.
- Identifying, developing, and evaluating emerging technologies that perform well and save energy.
